Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (ADR) (NYSE:TSM), the world's largest contract chipmaker, is in talks with Elon Musk about building and running a factory that would serve only Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), SpaceX Corp (NASDAQ:SPCX) and xAI for his Terafab chipmaking initiative. Over the weekend, Musk confirmed on X that discussions were taking place but did not elaborate.
